    TN: Feeler/WTT; 1991 318is with a m50 swap

Well, the build is nearing my my budget limit and it won't be as good as i'd like it to so i decided to go back to my roots. This is just to gauge interest and see what i could get for it.

    1991 bmw 318is

    -Sterling silver
    -5 speed
    -Tan interior
    -ABS

    Good:

    -M50 swap
    -Getrag 260 with lightened flywheel
    -E28 535i motor mounts
    -UUC stainless steel brake lines
    -E21 trans mounts
    -EricT trans brace
    -BavAuto perfromance ignition coils
-E30 ix brake booster and master cylinder
    -E36 318ti steering rack
-E36 ti radiator with a generic parts store electric fan wired into the a/c switch. When you push the a/c snowflake button the fan comes on.
-Tokico hp blue shocks with ground control coils (450 and 700lb springs)
    -Pro sport water gauge
    -New tstat and housing
-One silicone radiator hose one rubber lol
-New front rotors with hawk hps pad that have been used for 2 autox-s
    -New rear shock mounts
-New control arms, m3 offset bushings, tie rod ends, tie rod boots, adjustable sway bar links
    -IE 22mm front sway bar
    -New oil filter housing gasket
    -US elipsoids with generic hid's
-TRM performance chip ( not installed yet)
    -413 ecu
-Magnaflow 14832 muffler with new Magnaflow universal cat and 2 1/4 pipes
    - Ebay SS headers
    - New knock sensors, t/b gasket and intake manifold gaskets
-Redline mt90 trans fluid, mobil1 75-90 diff fluid
    -New strut mounts
    -New intake boot
    -New exhaust manifold gaskets
    -New e34 throttle cable
    -NEw pressure plate bolts
    -New center support bearing
    -New oil pan gasket
-New 2002 remote brake fluid reservoir
    -New pilot bearing
-New Fuzion HrII tires, 205/50/16. I may keep the wheels and tires and put basketweaves on the car, not sure.
-Somekinda rare Japanese Asso R-701 wheel that's been discontinued for a while. I had to drill out the valve stems to fit the standard ones. Also running 10mm spacers up front, and it will need 15mm spacers in the back, so the wheels don't look as sunken as they do now.
    -New starter

    Bad:

    -needs paint
    -no a/c
-vibrations are fixed after realigning the driveshaft.
    -needs door seals
    -few cracks in the seats
-door locks need to be rebuilt ( working on fixing these too)
-There's a noise coming from the back driverside wheel area, could be a wheel bearing or warped rotors.
    -Couple cracks in the dash

Car drives great, and it's pretty damn quick with the 4.10 LSD.

If i have to put a price on it, it'd be $4500 just to get back what i put in it. All the new has has maybe 50 miles on it, if that.

    Pics:

I still have to put all the interior panels in, glovebox etc, tidy up a few things in the engine bay and clean it up.

I'd recommend doing this stuff BEFORE posting the car... It needs it.

Dude, wash your hands before you go touching the trunk, boor, bumper, front valance and closing the hood. It would look much better without your greasy hand prints.

Finish this car before you try to sell it. You won't regret it.

Tough to get money out of M50 swaps like people used to since the market has recently been flooded with them. My brother just bought one locally from a 95 E34, pulled and delivered to his house with everything including ECU and wire harness for $300.

When I sold my M50'd car I hated letting it go for as much as I did. GLWS.

was your car turbo? I see where the gauges should be. also you should just finish it! things are always worth more when they look nice

" WHY DO YOU NEED 300HP TO DO THE SPEED LIMIT?"
