    1985 Mercedes 380SL R107

Figured I'd throw this up here, who knows, someone may like them:D

125k miles on the car/engine, carfax verified. My family bought it around 13 years ago on eBay for $13k, I believe. We had it maintained through the local german mechanic. As far as mechanicals go, the car is incredibly reliable, and strong-running. It was originally a Florida car, which means it has some rust. I don't know the extent of the rust -- but there is surface rust around the soft-top latch area, and I believe around the gas pedal mounting point.

It currently won't pass CA smog due to an exhaust leak, I have zero interest in fixing this, as I'm an E30 fan (Bought a 325iC to replace it.). It has a hardtop included, and the convertible top was replaced shortly before we bought it, the window is not fogging, and there are no tears, nor leaks.

We've been trying to sell it for 3k as is, without much motivation. It has been reliable for us, never let us down, and has been a head turner.

My Mother had a defunct knee-surgery two years ago and she can't get in and out of this car easily, the 325 is a much easier car to get in, and the seating position is better.

If anyone is interested in it, I'm totally open to trades (S5x included.). PM me.

MY DAD has one of these in mint condition. I still like my e30 vert better but they are nice cars also.

I look at them as two completely different cars. The E30 is still nimble and sporty, even as a convertible. This is a big, badass sounding automatic V8 cruiser.

            Very nice. GLWS.
I was tempted to buy my neighbors old 84' 380SL, with mint grey mettalic paint, and chomed rims like those. But I bought a nice E30 instead, and have no regrets. :D

              You.

Buy this car, you'll have so many milfs/cougars hitting on you you'll be the envy of... someone.

              For real.

They might be cougars, but I doubt they will be milfs.
