Looks as though the car is pretty legit. Front end damage fixed (radiators support). Car hasn't been driven in 9yrs and the muffler was stolen, not rusted.

I don't know the VIN and I haven't seen a carfax.

just make a good inspection.. looks in good shape for 6500.. theres a guy selling a clean bone stock 318is like for 5k.. i would buy the m3 and do what it has to be done to it.. good luck.. let us kno how it goes tomorrow good luck :o

Don't think that you are getting a car that is going to miraculously be worth 15-20k once its cleaned up.

It has a rebuilt title, meaning it will never be worth anything close to what a clean title car is worth.

That being said, if you simply want an m3 that has the potential to be a nice driver, this looks to fit the bill pretty nicely.

If you're looking for this as a quick money making venture, you might find yourself making only 20% at best, and that's after a whole lot of clean up, fixing, good advertising, and finding a buyer who thinks it's worth the risk buying a rebuilt m3.

Nah I am just looking to buy, build and drive. Not a collector or trying to make money on this.. always wanted an m3 and after working on my 318is, learned a lot about e30's.
