I saw this car and was pretty interested. I wish he would have shown the fading that he mentioned (I can't even see it in the close-ups he did). If it wasn't bad, I'd probably be all over this. Love everything about e28's. Definitely will be my next car after my regrettable sale of the blue coupe in my sig.:(

I was running a carfax on this very car and then I saw this thread. It says to deduct $250 from book value because of a previous accident. I dont think I ever saw that before on a carfax, and I've owned 2 salvage cars. Coincidentally, I then found another e28on craigslist and it said to deduct $450 from book value because of an accident.

Does anyone know if these are just small fender benders when it shows up on carfax, or are we talking about accidents that required insurance adjusters to come out and possible tweakage of the chassis?
