    WTB: 88-91 E30 2D 5spd

    Hello,

Looking for a plastic bumper 2D 5spd, 318 or 325 doesnt matter. Color doesnt matter either as long as theres NO RUST. Must be mechanically sound as well as electrically sound. Looking to spend around $2500, but I will consider up to $3000 for the right car. I live in north central Wisconsin and am willing to drive to any surrounding state to pick it up, so must be drivable (and safe). So far im just looking to see whats out there as Im not looking to buy until spring after snow melt.

Well, you may get more responses looking for an E36 but I don't think you'll be better off.

I've been looking for more than 6 months and still haven't found the car I'm looking for! Lots of really high-mileage (200K+), rusted-out or beat to an inch of it's life examples, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I check all the popular BMW sites, eBay and craigslist sites both close to home (Michigan) and all the warm-weather and rust-free cities like LA, Dallas, Atlanta, Raleigh, Phoenix, Houston, etc. and I've still not found anything.

An E30 325is is the car I want, but I'm losing faith in my ability of ever finding one. I'm going to give my search until Spring, which would make it almost a full year and if I still haven't found anything I'll likely switch gears to my second choice, a Silver/Black E36 M3.

Keep the faith.......for at least 6 months. :D
