This is a longshot but i'll try here too, just incase:
I am selling a White 98 Jetta TDI That a friend VR6 Swapped for me. The car runs and drives flawlessly, and has been my daily driver since the summer.
The only reason I am selling is because I miss my old E30 and would like to build another one. This truly is a great car for the money. Here's what it currently has
Motor:
OBD2 VR6 Swap, seals/gaskets replaced. leaks/burns nothing
2.9L intake manifold
C2 Motorsport Chip
Unorthodox Pulleys
Lightweight Flywheel
Corrado VR6 transmission
Pelloquin LSD
Full 3" stainless exhaust to a borla muffler. no cat
Suspension:
H&R Ultra Low Coilovers
new strut bearings
Full 5-lug swap from a 97 GTI
Rear Disc conversion
fresh brakes, pads, and all new brake lines
New ebrake and lines was installed with the swap as well
New control arms, axles, and Powerflex polyurethane control arm bushings
16" Beetle steel wheels with Mk5 Jetta 16" hubcaps
interior:
stock with exception to Alpine Headunit and Corrado G60 non-airbag steeringwheel
Other:
Brand new OEM VW hood sprayed professionally in primer white, was waiting to finish painting it because I intended to spray the whole car
4 BRAND NEW kumho ecsta tires (literally 300 miles max on these)
OEM Euro Duckbill spoiler
The car has a few issues, they are minor:
-powersteering is non-op right now. it needs a new rack. I can include one with the sale
-Windshield has a 2 VERY small cracks in the corners, and sometimes during heavy rain it will leak a little but causing the headliner to get a little damp in the front.
This is a MkIII. It does have rust. there is a small rust hole in the rocker on the drivers side. There is some minor floor rot. it is along below the rockers on the passenger side. Also, 2 very small bubbles are forming on top of the windshield.
It is clean and rust free in all the right places, the shock towers are flawless and over all the car feels very solid. it is VERY quick and has even given me my first speeding ticket in 5 years.
I would like to get 3750 for this car, It is worth that alone in parts. My initial intention was to fix the small amount of rust and keep it for a long time, but I truly miss having an E30. As cliche as it sounds, my loss is most certainly your gain.
my name is Andrew and I can be reached at 9oh8-24six-861seven. my Email is ahoffman04@yahoo.com. Feel free to ask any question you may have, i feel as though I have been honest in the representation of the vehicle but I am open to any inquiries.
