UPDATE: I just picked up anothe M20 to swap in the car. So I end up keeping it or selling it for more.
History: The car was originally owned by a BMW CCA member. The car was repainted and had a engine rebuild during time of ownership by him. A buddy of mines (also BMW CCA member) bought the approxiately two years ago. This was his second car to drive to work and back. He was getting ready to sell his house, and wife forced him to sell one of his car, and this one was it. The car was having blow-by problems when he sold it to me. My buddies and I took the head off replace valve stems in the problem cyclinders. To no avail, we are having the same problems, which only lead us to piston rings. I really do not feel like going back into the engine, and I also getting real bored. I have a S52 laying around for it, so I could package it with the car. The cars and drives, but I not driving it until it runs perfect.
Body: The car was resprayed a while ago. The body is mint. I can have a couple of my buddies on here vouch for it. Maybe 1 or 2 dings, which could be pulled with the paint-less dent repair.
Interior: Non- crack dash, black sports seats are in great shape. All light indicators work. Odometer works. Heated Seats work. Come with BMW rubber floor mats. No rips in the seams on rear seats.
Suspension- vogtland springs with Boge shocks.
Engine: #6 and #1 piston has some play. Brand new cap and rotor. Replaced headgasket. Timing belt was done at 130,000 miles. Has straight pipe running to supersprint exhaust
