    1990 325iS w/ M50 Swap TX

First let me say this has been the most fun and reliable daily driver I have ever owned. I bought it from my father-in-law in May of 2007 and he had owned it since 2001. Since that time I have done a lot of maintenance and made many upgrades to make it a great dual purpose car. The end result is a car that is very capable both on the street and the track. I do live in Texas so it's HOT yet I have never had any overheating issues and the A/C is ice cold. Last year with the current set-up it made 188hp and torque was 166 lbft at the wheels.

This car really does look as good in person as it does in the photos and those should speak for themselves. Below are only a few photos and brief descriptions of the work done, but more photos and information can be found here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3904928/1990-bmw-3-series

The interior and exterior are in excellent condition and I only added a few things that I thought would enhance the original design. The body is in excellent condition with only a few very small digs and no rust!

The chassis has around 227k miles on it, but you would never know by looking at it. The motor had around 110k miles on it when it was swapped in this car. Prior to being swapped in it had a major freshing including rebuilding the head and installing new rod and main bearings. Along with rebuilding the head I replaced ALL the lifters and swapped in some M3 cams. The motor was completely resealed and ALL maintenance items were addressed at the same time.
Some of the driveline upgrades include: SPAL electric fan, Turner custom ECU chip, Bavarian Auto High Performance Ignition Coils, Dr. VANOS Stage 2 kit, MISHIMOTO All-Aluminum Radiator, Stainless Steel Super Sprint replica headers, E36 OBDI mid-pipe, Ireland Engineering’s E36 twin muffler SS cat back exhaust system (nice deep tone no rasp), Z3 Short Shifter, Sachs clutch, new Guibo, New Center support bearing, New trans tail shaft seal, New detent spring cover, New selector rod seal, Low mileage (78K) 3:73 LSD diff, Rebuilt rear axles, Z3 M Coupe diff cover and bushing.
Around 30k miles ago I rebuilt the entire suspension and braking system, and when I say everything I mean it. Bearings, bushings, CV axles, tie rods, shocks, struts, springs, brake rotors, calipers and even the PITA sub-frame bushings. I did lots of research to make sure I bought the best parts I could and not just some cheep parts off EBay.
My asking price is $10,500 OBO and I’m not looking for trades. From what I have seen similar cars sell for I believe this to be a fair price for this car, but like it says OBO. You can contact me at jrhiegel at sbcglobal dot net with any questions or picture requests.

The buyer will also have first right of refusal for the following items:
S50 short block, M3 5spd Transmission w/ flywheel and drive shaft (75k miles), Euro MAF w/ larger injectors, M3 wire covers, Treehouse Racing Eyeball Arms, iS factory side skirts and Yakima E30 roof rack.

Awesome car! Truly inspirational. Btw, what is that canister mounted behind the passenger side strut bar?

Thanks for the compliment. It's a vacuum canister that I added to make up for the smaller brake booster.

Sweet. You should bring it to my shop and we can drift it around the parking lot. :p

Hmm not sure those photos would help sell the car ;)

BTW I still have your rear subframe sitting in my garage. Do you want it back?

Sale Pending! I'll update this thread once it has been finalized.

I will be listing the extra parts in a seperate thread as the new owner is only interested in the side skirts.
