Long story short, the PO wrecked the car and had a new rad support put in. When they towed it, they used a dolly and towed it from the front wheels. It blew up the auto tranny, insurance company said it was totaled. One of my friends, a local BMW tech, put in the 5 speed. The guy drove it a few more years, then a rocker arm broke, and sold it to another guy. This guy had it for ~6 months, bought a 80,000 mile motor from a local junkyard, did the swap, then sold it to me. I planned on it being a track car. I had it at the track a couple of times, and ended up putting it into a wall at ~10mph. It wasn't terrible, but I had a body shop pull the rad support and a few other things back straight. The front end still needs some lining up, I ran out of time this summer to really do anything with it. It's the is model, so it has the sport seats (which are pretty beat, honestly) BBS basketweaves, rear lip spoiler, and since it was a auto swap, it has a 4.10 LSD.
That being said, it has:
CAI
Dinan chip
Mustang injectors
new 2.5" exhaust from collector to a stock gutted muffler, pulled from the same 80,000 mile car as the motor
ported intake mani
D2 coilovers
E36 steering rack - faster steering, the stock E30 rack feels like you're driving a bus in comparison.
Duraflex M Tech front bumper + valance, not installed 'cause it's winter.
Ellipsoid headlights
Probably a few other things I'm forgetting.
In the past month, I've installed:
New timing belt
New coolant temp sensor
New crank position sensor
New plugs
New snow tires
I've also done a few general maintenance things, like replacing coolant, cleaning MAF, adjusted valves, replaced injector o rings that looked a little beat, and flow testing fuel pump.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it's very reliable.
To get the front end back to new condition, you would definitely need a passenger side bumper shock and passenger bumper side trim. The bumper has a crack in it, but it isn't terrible. The valance could also use some straightening. There are a few dings and dents on the rest of the body, but the car looks pretty good from 20 feet. There is absolutely zero rust on the chassis, none in the trunk or rear lower valance, which is amazing.
Here's some pics of it from this week:

Here's a pic with the new bumper and valance:

I'd like to keep the bike rack. I need it for work. I can get you one for a good price though.
Will sell for $1900 with stock suspension and some bottlecaps.
