1987 325is
Hi I live in Washington state and I just wanted to put my .02 in on this. I have 2 e30s currently, I have owned 5 in the past 5yrs and had fun with them all. My newest one is a 88 325is bronzit auto, Ive been doing little things on for the past few months, seems the po just let a lot of small things go unrepaired. Now that Ive finished all this I stood back and took a look and said gee this is a really nice car, runs perfect everything works AC, radio sun roof etc. the body, paint and black leather interior are excellent sport seats are near mint. So the point to all this is nice e30s are getting harder to find and more expensive, they are a great fun car and easy to work on. I would not even think of letting mine go for less than $3500, so yours looks very nice and people looking for a well cared for e30 should be all over it for 3k. There are plenty of projects out there for much less but if people are looking for a very nice well cared for one 3k is a bargain, good luck selling but dont give it away, take care,Comment

Couple questions.
Does the odo work now?
Is there an airport near you or would you be willing to meet me or pick me up if I was to fly in and drive home.
It should drive me home to Vermont and be a good daily driver from the looks/sounds of your ad/pics/description.
The bent wheels... how does that effect the ride especially on the freeway at 70mph or so?
I got almost enough to buy the car, and am scrapping up enough to get down there so I am hoping I can be its happy new owner!Comment

Yes, I replaced 4 gears with the BavAuto gears when I got it, so no worries on that.
Yep, Huntsville International sits right next to my work, so picking you up would not be an issue at all. While I can make no guarantees I can see no problem with driving it home. I have used it as my DD for the whole time I have had it and it has never let me down.
They ride good until you get up to or over about 80, which is why they caused me no issue since I just drove around town. The rear tires would have to be replaced or we could swap out with the bottle caps which have decent tires all the way around and ride a bit better.
Just let me know if/when or if you have further questions.
Thanks again!Comment

I agree, 100%. While not in a panic to sell I do need it to move, so I figured I would go ahead and drop the price here to my bottom price (still $3500 on the CL listings and elsewhere;)). With all I have done and the money I have put into it I would like to have gotten $4000, but with the economy the way it is ATM that does not look to happen.:(Hi I live in Washington state and I just wanted to put my .02 in on this. OK, so I am wondering why so little interest in this here on the forums. Any comments? Too far away, asking too much, too much/not enough detail, not the right model/year/color???
I guess I am just surprised that after a month I have only had one serious contact on this via R3V. Couple through CL but they were just looky-loos. I hate to put it on eBay but may do so to get more exposure. Any advice would be helpful.Comment

I think it's part economy and partly your location. For whatever reason, it seems a lot of guys are afraid to hop on plane and drive a car home. And of course shipping is PRICEY.
Your car is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, but now out of my budget since I just picked up a set of wheels.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

$3000 is more than a fair price (it's a steal), if it was any other color but red, it would be in my driveway right now. Why are all the really nice ones I am finding lately are always red?
Good luck with your sale_______________
