I've been thinking an E36 is a better daily driver, but since I miss my old lousy Eta car, I'm posting this anyway.
I'm graduating soon, need a car that's a bit larger and more comfortable than my Miata on coilovers to DD. So... the hunt for The Perfect E30 is on.
My ideal car would be a newer, plastic-bumper coupe. MUST be a 5-speed. Not really wanting a 318, I think I'd like the power of the 2.5 a bit more. So... 325is.
Any color except Bronzit. Paint needs to be good. Any interior color. Must have sport seats, but leather vs. vinyl is not really an issue.
Don't care about miles as long as maintenance has been kept up. Good cooling system, electronics, etc would all be awesome. Working AC would be super. A stock or mostly-stock 'is' would be my goal here, right down to the 'weaves.
I'm willing to travel a bit since I know these are old and getting harder to find. Let's set a budget (for a really good, clean, doesn't need much car) at $4k.
Show me what you have!
PS - Any clean 5-speed E34's would also be considered...
