WTB E30 $2k budget.

Car must NOT be an automatic.
Car must have no major body damage.
Car must have papers and clean title.
I will accept anything from faded paint, torn seats, and dirt.
Must have no visible rust spots larger than thumb size underneath the car.
- If it's on the front fenders or front/rear bumpers I can deal with it.
Car must be 1987+. I will love you (no homo) if you sell me a vert.
Must be running and no other problems exist.
If other parts of the car is in different colors I will accept but you must explain.
Car should have NO accident reports, will run a VIN check for the right car and will review the car thoroughly.
SO CAL only, sorry no money for travel.
If you want to drive down to show me your car I will give you a ride home and some extra money for your hassle.

word, it may take some time. I just found mine with Zero rust 325is, with hid smileys, 410LSD lowered for around what your looking to spend.

It seems the E30 supply is drying up bad in recent months. I used to see an E30 pop up on Cl once every couple weeks for under $2k, now CL is stagnant and lifeless, and any E30 in any sort of decent shape on R3v is commanding at LEAST $3k.

That said, I have a 1991 318is that I listed here a while back for $2500, but I am contemplating keeping it...

same with me it took 6 months of looking and i found a rust free florida car with 75k on the clock for 1300. the catch is that it was an autotragic, but thats why she was swapped a month after i bought it! Don't give up and don't settle

well, settle a little if you must. Like if it has metal bumpers and you want plastic you know you can replace those....if you want a 5-speed that can be fixed...so on and so forth

I know people what I am looking for. If they have something that's under $2k i will look at it. BUT I will not buy an automatic. Will not be approved by my brother since he's paying for the insurance at the moment. Forgot to mention that.

I'd prolly pay $2K at most for that one... I'm biased, i picked up my last e30 for $1800 with 80K original miles, babied by its owner (first owner)... haha. I might be up there next weekend so I'll check it out and let you know what its deal is.
