Other items addressed in past 5 years, in addition to listed mods from above;
New fuel pump
New fuel pressure regulator
New fuel filter
New Sachs clutch (kit)
Stainless clutch line
New clutch slave
New front lower control arms
New outer tie-rods
New head gasket
Head surfaced, cleaned, and pressure tested
New valve retainers (soft retainer issue on ’95 cars)
New top-end gaskets & O-rings
New upper & lower timing chain tensioners
New thermostat & aluminum t-stat housing
OEM motor mounts
New OEM floor mats
New windshield
New OEM windshield cowl
New drip moldings
I am sure there are items I have forgotten. I also have a box of new clips, and misc items that will go with the car.
Flaws -
Standard rock chips, a very small dent under pass door handle (so small I cannot photograph!), and the PO hit a bucket of tar on the highway. See the last 6 pictures. Should come off, I've just not had time to do it. Rear end of car does show over-spray (meaning it has been resprayed at some point), small crack in ds interior door panel at lock.
If I were to keep it - I would go custom tune, finish interior swap and really that's it.
This car is in amazing shape for it's age and mileage. Runs SUPER strong and has been maintained by enthusiasts! Smog is good until December 2012.
