◦This guy is dreaming. This was the iX i was supposed to buy last yr....

    but passed after driving it.

You'd think he'd drop the price by now, but instead he raised it.

When I went to see it, it was listed at $2900, and to his knowledge the car was pristine. I drove it, and knew right away something was wrong w/ it. The car had no pickup, had a noisy differential, & performed the 'jack test' and found out the AWD system wasn't working. The brakes were a death trap. I ended up picking up my current one about 10mins away from him, that same day.

At one point late last yr, he had the car listed as low as $2300.

I saw the listing recently with the price raised back up to $3000. Assumed he fixed the issues....but he didn't. lol. Buyer beware.

yeah he is...i'll give him that.

but to accept $2300 where he thought the car was mechanically flawless, then finding out the flaws.....removing the car from existence for several months, relisting and raising it up to $3000 (which was more than his original asking) w/o any repairs....doesn't make logical sense in book.

No sweat off my back lol. not my listing. just thought i'd inform u fellas in case u were considering buying.

Thanks for the warning, just one more reason why buying at long distance can be hazardous to your wallet.

he does say that it has a new head and timing belt, so maybe he thinks that warrants a jump in price
