So it's still for sale? This car is one of the first e30's that I remember from when I started getting interested in them.
I have yet to get an offer on the car that I'm okay with... I am in no dire rush to sell the vehicle so if i can't get asking price it will remain mine :)
this car is what actually got me into e30s to begin with too, it used to me my buddy Jajous..
It looked like this when I bought it:
He actually knew the original owner, that guy took it into the dealership everytime it needed maintenance, even bought a re manufactured m42 from them, i had the receipt :O lol
Because of Jajous motivation (that e30 above^^ haha) I purchased my first car - 1991 325i 4dr
They are two completely different cars.. I considered my m3 a poor mans Ferrari, it had the perfect balance of sportiness mixed with luxury.
My e30 on the other hand is a blown up shifter kart, like any e30 it's really no luxury but filled with pure thrill and adrenaline.. speed wise they are two completely different cars. I do miss my e36 m3... all the time, just like I would miss this vehicle if i ever sold it. It's difficult to compare the two yet you would think the contrary due to so many similar aspects between the two cars.
For a daily, e36 M3 all the way, if you're truly nuts like my Lebanese ass that may not be true.. because the e30 is so freaking fun. But logically the e30 would make a better track car and the m3 a better street car.. it all depends on how you build them too.
both cars are amazing in their own way... with the m3, i can't get over how balanced that car was, it just felt like it had so much prestige, yeah it's an e36 and i know many people on these boards aren't too fond of them but it just had a feel to it i can't get out of any other car..
I couldn't tell you what i'd rather drive.. both? ha
