Well I don't know how to put it, but basically I want another E30. To do that I either need to trade mine or sell it as I have no spare cash flow for another car.
You aren't going to find a 4 door M-Tech 2 that's been on the car since new state side. Nor one that was also imported. (Still a US spec 318i, but with some unusual options)
When I got the car, quite a bit was wrong. To make it short, a well worn E30.
Pics from the day I got it:

Since I've had it, I've done the following:
Mechanical bits:
Leaking trunk- new OEM tail light seals, trunk vents, antenna grommet
Power antenna
Front door seals
Blower fan and resistor replaced
Numerous electrical gremlins
New set of keys
Sunroof- was off track
Front end stuff, control arms, tie rods, etc
Steering rack from a >100k 87 cabrio, old one would loose the whole res in 5 mins
M-Tech hardware, some was missing/damaged
rust in the corner of the battery tray and a random hole where a stud rotted through
New vacuum hoses
New intake gaskets
Brake items
New muffler
New fuel pump and filter
New valence
Exterior:
Euro Smilies
Euro plate filler
Euro grills
DIY all red tails
Black kidneys
Interior:
Recovered sports and M3 rear in black vinyl (M3 rear will be ready at the end of the week.)
Black door cards and map pockets
Lock delete on the glovebox
M-tech 2 wheel, 380mm
Early model 318i overhead panel- deletes the check panel hole
Map light mirror
13 button
Premium sound with factory radio wired up for power only, after market JVC in the glove box
E36 window switches- I have the pigtails to do the rear, still need to find some switches
Foot well lighting
Center console lighting
Dyed carpet and rear shelf black
George Graves light dimmer hooked up to the front doors
Known issues:
20 year old car, so there's dings and such
The front sway bar needs mounts, one is missing
Shocks are on their way out
Sunroof panel is rusting from the inside out
Driver side fender isn't original
AC is defunct as of December, the high pressure line nipple sheared off releasing all of the freon. Worked great prior.
Missing the brake ducts
The M-Tech valence is off of the car. The new valence is drilled and has all the hardware mounted. It's just a matter of me putting it on.
The M42 needs new timing chain gears, at some point in time it had a bad tensioner and that was the result.
The biggest issue, which is why I'm wanting to let go of it. The car isn't black. At some point it was re sprayed. A good 10ft car tho. The car is Diamondschwarz under the M-Tech.
Now for current pics.

So there you go.
$4500- for everything
-$900 the interior
-$1200 the M-Tech and Euro bits
$2400- for the car without the improvements
Here's what I'm looking for as a replacement.
Plastic bumpered
sedan or cabrio
manual only
M20 preferred
Really looking for a Sterling silver or Lagoon green E30, but will entertain others.
