Looking for an E30 318is/325is or 325ix, preferably within a 4 hour radius of Lake Tahoe (basically close enough I can make it a day trip). I *will* travel further for the right car.
Basically, I learned to drive in an E30 and figured it might be time to revisit the experience :D.
I'm after a mostly standard car (some mods like a slight lowering OK, but I don't want a slammed car - we have nice big pot holes out here) in good condition. Not too mint to not be used on the road on a regular basis, but not a rat rod either. Something "nice" and clean. Would prefer either a silver or black car, but white or red are perfectly acceptable, too.
Budget is around $4.5k, might find a little more behind the sofa for a really nice car.
