SuperETA 2.7i AutoX car with lots of goodies for sale or trade.

Hey all, here are a bunch of pictures of the AutoX car I'm selling.

We bought this car from a chick who had blown the clutch. It's fairly straight, has all the original VIN tags and was completely stock. We chose the SuperETA so we could easily make it a 2.7i. We chose the sedan because the chassis is stiffer than a comparable coupe. We put a refreshed head from an '87 325is on the stock block. I don't have many pics of that, but here's one of Jack bolting it on:

The car has current registration and was smogged about a month ago so the certification is still good for another 60 days or so. Registering the car will be a piece of cake. You could return the interior and everything to stock (minus the sound deadening) in an afternoon but it would be a shame to, IMO.

BTW, I'm a moderator on bimmerforums in the E30 subforum among others and this is probably my 10th E30. My buddy and I started out building it to take to the bigger tracks but he ran out of interest and I ran out of time. We're both pushing 40 so this isn't a shoestring budget-mobile...it will be an awesome foundation for someone. It still needs to have various items addressed for track use (for example, brakes are still stock) but needs nothing to DD or autoX. The 2.7i has a lot more power than a normal 325i and the light weight makes this a quick little car.

I'm asking $3500 (might be interested in trades for almost anything?) I had it sold to some friends locally but they backed out last weekend because they didn't need another project so now I'm going to list it for sale. They've seen and heard it and can vouch for all of our builds. Also, a couple of R3V members have driven this car and can vouch for it as well. I will throw in an unbent valence, passenger fender and a set of weaves with OK tires if you buy it locally.

I have one offer of a trade already but want to put this out there before I accept it. For vehicles I'm looking for a DD, preferably a 318is but might consider an early M10 car if it is well sorted and/or unique. I might consider non-E30's as well so if you're looking to get one and you have another car, don't be afraid to ask. I'd also be interested in nice sets of wheels or coilovers for my M5, an MTech kit for my cabrio or anything else that's interesting. :D I might consider throwing cash your way for something too, so don't be afraid to ask.

Video of it at Qualcomm last year: http://vimeo.com/12908127

The last three images are linked to videos; I found the crack in the hose that was causing the minor idling issue so watch them all so you can see the before, during and after. You'll need a sub to hear the exhaust properly.
