holy fucking 285 tires batman. How the fuck? Any pics of what you did to the trailing arms?!

It wasn't Easy. I had to heat and beat the inner fender with a soft rounded head dead blow to clearance the sheetmetal, then I had to cut a 4" section of the control arms pinch weld off and then reweld the section. Then i just sprayed everything with epoxy black paint to finish it off. if you were to take the wheel off, you probably wouldn't even notice what I did. I also had to roll/beat out the fender a bit to keep from rubbing. 285 is the absolute biggest i could stuff in there....295 did not work out so well, ask me how i know :(

That was a time consuming process to get that hood trimmed perfectly to the contour of the hardware sticking out....it looks good in person.

Not a fan of the turbo placement, takes away from the sleeper look and is an easy excuse for a cop to pull you over.

Other than that it looks to be a well sorted car, especially for $3k! :crazy:

sweet...first car i've owned with donk status !! :) I had the rims first though...so during the boosting process...I wasn't particularly worried about keeping things sleeper. I actually got the hood cutout idea from a Honda magazine where a guy did a V6 swap in a white civic, and the engine was so big, he had to make a clean contoured cutout for the intake manifold popping through the hood. I thought it was a cool look....so i copied
