SOLD! 1987 BMW 325i Vert For Sale in OH

    8/27 update - now sold!

FOR SALE: 1987 BMW 325i Convertible

It is time to sell it. Currently it has @~145k miles on it and has been a daily driver off and on since I got it about 4.5 years ago.

The good: Tons of mods and replacement of wear type items. I work for BMW and have had access to parts at great prices, allowing me to buy replacement parts for items most would just look past. A semi-complete list of mods is below. Before kids came along, this was my baby! I have driven it (and would drive it) long distances without issues. Great, cheap open air fun. Shifts nice and has nice power. Comes with Bentley manual, huge binder of instructions, website how-to print outs, parts diagrams, printed Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, misc small spare parts (nuts, bolts, washers, etc). Also comes with original front normal air dam, original top part of rear seat 9wear tears at seems), fiberglass rear under bumper skirt (damaged - would need work to make look nice), and rear bearing puller tool ($250+ tool!). Free and clear title.

The bad: Has typical dents and dings of a 20-something year old car. CarFax says somebody hit a animal with it at some point - and driver's side fender and door skin are DOT replacements, so I suspect a deer hit. Timing belt done at 129k so it is getting close to the time again within the next 10,000 miles. Front IS spoiler doesn't have clear coat so if you really look at it you can see it appears a slightly different shade - and was recently pulled across a parking block by my wife, so now hangs down very slightly and is loose (isn't going to fall off, but the OCD in me wants to fix it if I had the time). Driver's side side bolster recently replaced - so it looks brand new compared to the rest of the leather which is starting to look old and worn. Oil drip every now and then - uses about a quart every 3-4k miles. Some "reverse" dents on trunk lid. Some paint on plastic parts is chipping/crazing.

Asking $6500 OBO - Car located in Columbus, OH. Best way to contact me is email. IM me if you are interested and I'll send you my email address.
