    IL: 1991 318is 115k *Price Drop to $1500 OBO*

PRICE DROP: $1500 OBO I NEED THIS CAR GONE! SHOOT ME A REASONABLE OFF AND ITS YOURS.

Ok, so here's the deal. I bought this car last summer with the intention of swapping in a m50 and doing a full build on the car... Fast forward til now. Its kinda in the same place its been since I bought it. I drove the car for a few months until it overheated on me. I figured great! now I'll swap the motor... Then I decided I should keep the m42 and turbo it. That never happened either. LOL But I did buy everything needed to redo the entire cooling system.

    Run Down On The Car

    1991 318is Brilliant-rot/Black

    115k 5 speed manual

    No Rust Holes

Vin Tags Present On All Body Panels

    No Cracks on the dash

    Things That Need Attention
    • the AC was removed by the previous owner
    • passenger door has a large dent but its definitely repairable. i do know someone who has a matching door that i might be able to get my hands on as well.
    • idled rough when it was running, but ran great and pulled hard through out the rev band.
    • needs a new exhaust, the current one has a leak
    • HVAC needs to be replaced. the current one has 2 broken tabs at the top so it sticks out. another easy fix that can be sourced at a yard.
    • clear on the hood is all gone so it would need to be re-cleared. also 2 spots on the driver door as well.
    • gauge cluster needs to be replaced. when i purchased the car the RPM tach didn't work but the MPH did. it didn't bother me because its common, The last time I drove the car the MPH started flickering and then stopped working.

Currently the Valve Cover and Intake Manifold are removed. they were both sandblasted and high temp painted. I started working on doing the coolant system but never finished. So to get it running again the car will have to have the cooling system revamped. For all that are interested contact me if you would like to know something specific.

5 hours is nothing! What part of MI are you from? I have driven 13+ hours and back for a car.

                              Honest feedback, not thread shitting.

Condition is much more important than mileage on these cars.

Doesn't run, needs a fair bit maintenance (exhaust/cooling/AC) and body/paint work.

To me? That makes it a $500 car.

EDIT: That ignores the fact there is someone basically selling the exact same car (a rough, non-running 318 red) for half of what you're asking.
