FT: 1-owner, 5sp 2005 Scion TC for your nice e30 [look!]

I'm putting this up for my friend Karol. He'd like to trade his 2005 scion TC that he has owned since brand new for a clean e30.

Only rust-free, late model, plastic bumper, 5speed cars considered. Sedan/cab/coupe okay, any location. Willing to drive anywhere to trade.

Would probably like a small bit of cash on top, but for truly clean exceptional cars it could be a close to even trade. I know the negative stigma behind toyota, but this is a well sorted Scion that has been owned by an enthusiast since day one- who would like to get into an e30. This is potentially a very good deal for someone looking to offload their e30 and score a great deal on a zippy reliable DD.

    Details:

    2005 Scion Tc
    114,000 miles
    First owner since new.

    The good:

    TRD shocks
    H&R race springs
    TRD rear sway bar

    Fidanza lightweight flywheel
    B&M short throw shifter
solid shifter end links & bushings

    Polk component speakers up front
    Polk coaxial speakers in rear
Rockford Fosgate 10" subwoofer in custom sealed enclosure
    400watt Pioneer amp for speakers
    200watt Kicker amp for subwoofer

    The Bad:

    Broken car computer system -
computer mounted in glovebox doesn't respond
7" touchscreen monitor mounted in dash
(luckily, amps accept 3.5mm jack: play music off your ipod)

ABS sensor broken - ABS light is on, tire pressure sensors won't respond
Horn & Cruise Control broken - need a new harness w/ pigtails to connect under steering column

Car comes with steel wheels for winter, stock wheels for summer
winter tires are at 30% tread
    summer tires are new

" I've maintained this car myself for the past 6 years. Can't believe it's been so long already; car drives fine. Engine runs smoothly on cold start, warms up effortlessly. Engine revs from idle to redline like a champ - no hiccups, stutters, sputters or rattles. Car does fine driving over bumps: it's starting to develop the Tc rattle in the rear hatch.

Make no mistake: this car is essentially a Toyota Camry Coupe. The 2AZFE engine has been in production in Camrys since the mid-90s, and so has the transmission. The chassis comes from the European Toyota Avensis. This car is boring, soulless, and submissive. This car will never surprise you.

The only maintenance I've had to do to this car is replace fluids, belts, and linings. I've never had a major component fail (except for the ABS sensor). Once I ran the battery dry watching movies on the installed car computer - it was my stupidity, and not the car that left me stranded. Since then I replaced the battery with an Optima Yellowtop and have never run that one dry.

I'll be happy to talk about this car with you. The reason I'm letting it go is that I'm bored with it, nothing more. "
