I am still looking for that 323i, 325i, or 328i around NC, and am now willing to consider full trades for an e36. or outright sale
Details about my e24 633csiA:
5/1984 build date: North American built VIN: WBAEB7402E6728178
NO accident reports, no insurance claims, all responsible parties owned, 4 owners since 1984. Started in Denver, CO, car made it's way to Maryland where it was sold from the original owner to 3 individuals, me being the 4th. I have owned the car since 2008.
The good: Have only put 5,000 miles on it since I bought the car in 2008. Very sound, reliable engine, no abnormal noise, misfires, etc. Car has on a working odometer (replaced gear that commonly breaks, have records of "lost miles ~1900mi,) ~133,000miles, original 5 speed from factory, I have also replaced the water pump, thermostat, completely flushed the cooling system, blower motor, spark plugs, fuel pump, regular ~3,000mile oil changes, replaced the sunroof motor, installed an e30 maplight review mirror, replaced the pealing speaker covers with matching 1988 635 premium speaker pods, new to me shifter knob (originally off another mid 1980s e24), all lighted window switches upgraded, replaced brake booster seal for common leak fix, replaced coolant sensor, replaced brake fluid sensor, clean trunk bay, have e24 car cover, always garage kept during periods of intermittent storage, tires have about ~8-10,000 miles of tread left, wheels are 3 piece mesh epsilon's very of period, the rest of the suspension is stock. Mint backseats, No rust, in arches, behind trim, on strut towers, have oil reset tool, full tool kit in trunk with green handle heyco screwdrivers.
Have receipts for many items, including all belts, hoses, and bulbs, relays, which I have a second set of every possible item in the trunk. Vacuum tubes, air filter, oil filters, etc etc
The bad: Headliner near sunroof motor is colored a bit, , the dash is cracked, there is trace amount of glue on A-pillars, the radio presets only work on 1-2-3, not 4-5, but the rest is functional, am working on greasing the antennae as it seems to get stuck sometimes, but always goes ~3/4 of the way up, stain on back floor mat (drivers side), electric seats (I include this in bad because although they fully work they add a ton of weight to the car ) I hand stitched the drivers seat because the piping separated from the leather, but nothing tore, is not a professional stitch job, but unless you stare, you cannot tell. Leaks 1/4 quart in 3,000 miles before oil change. Engine bay is dirty, not a concourse car, DD or weekend warrior.

Tires: Front drivers side, rear drivers side, rear passenger side, front passenger side

small dash crack:

Small dent drivers side fender
