the low down.
bought the car from a friend, alex v., he sells cars but has a soft spot for e30's and autoX's. he aquired this as a trade from a friend of his, who happened to work down the street from his wharehouse.
i purchased this the week of guten fest, so err 3-4 months ago?
what was done when i bought it:
vogtland springs
billy sports
rebuilt motor with 20k and a cam
respray, not the best
odo worked at 195k ish, has stopped since at 196k
ebay taillights
blacked out turn signals/reflectors with red bulbs
4.10lsd swapped in
what i did:
IS lip
ebay headers, true dual 2.25" exhaust
monkey madness dual mufflers
miller MAF conversion
KAMOTORS intake
zhp shift knob
2 10" kicker comps
sony speakers in rear deck
jvc head unit
clutch stop
speaker ports in rear seat
shadowlineing
floor mats
NEW hawk front pads
front cxracing underneath sub brace
and i think that is all...will probably think of more and add
now i've raced this car against some friends, it murders other m20's, with chips and without all day. it keeps up/sometimes beats m50 e30's. has taken down is300 and a few e36's. yes i have fun it, but i do take care of her.
reason i am looking to sell is i found a early model with a swap that is calling my name, i had planned to do a swap on this car, but am gonna go a new direction.
some issues:
coolant light on check panel is one, coolant isn't low, bad sensor
steering vibration, could be a unbalanced wheel or something needs tightening, have febi tie rods i was gonna install, but not 100% certain as to what issue is.
could use new tires
clear coat on hood not best
drivers seat is shot.
cracked dash
ac is r12, needs refill....ya not by me!
trust, this car is a blast, had tons of fun it and she's taken care of me.
WILL NOT SELL TO SOMEONE WHO WILL TRASH THIS.
not posting on craigslist because i want it to go to someone who cares.
