nobody in his right mind would sell that car for $2.5k.

And good move on keeping it. I couldn't figure out why you'd want a Mk1 rabbit over this at all...

          Jim,

Just keep it for another 4 years, then I can "legally" take it off your hands :) I am proud to have owned this car for an hour, possibly the best hour of my life!

Yes it's a long and complicated story. I think you'll find a good one before that Mike. :D

lol at all the Rabbit hate. Having owned both a Mk1 Rabbit and an E30, they're both awesome cars, and I could see why someone would choose a Rabbit over an E30. I can also see why the opposite would be true as well. Beautiful car, man.

hey I like mk1 rabbits! No hate here!! I just can't think of a mk1 rabbit that i would like to have over THIS particular car.

of course, if I could pick up a mk1 rabbit for $300 running and driving, I would be all over it!

                      M50

I did scoop up a 92 vert to hold me over temporarily. It needs some work, but should be a fun little car. 60k miles :) I also just picked up an s50 swap. Won't be going in the vert, once it's built I'll be on the hunt to either trade this car or pick up a red coupe :) really wish it could have worked out :(

Can this be imported to Florida or does it need to be 25yrs old?
