Attached are photos of the 1989 E30 325i I am selling.
History:
I purchased the car about 2 years ago - without a drivetrain - from Ed and Mano at Groma Fabrication (in Duarte, next to Ireland Engineering). The ownership paper trail showed it was previously owned by someone at Harout's BMW Parts. I then installed a good-running M20 engine and a 5 speed manual with overdrive, replacing various parts along the way. Mileage of the drivetrain is unknown.
It is a stock-looking 325i with a very-acceptable body, though not perfect. The hood and right front fender have been repaired (the fitment is not-quite right where the front of the hood meet the front of the fender). No rust anywhere.
Combined, I'd estimate 8,000 of trouble-free miles on it. The suspension/steering is tight, transmission is smooth. A test drive of this car will tell you plenty.
It has:
4.10 differential (makes it peppy, fun to drive)
Bilstein shocks/struts
Eibach springs (I believe they are 'sport' progressive lowering springs)
[new] Front Control Arm bushings, M3 offset type
[new] Rear Shock Mounts
[new] Radiator
[new] Timing Belt and Tensioner.
[new] Fuel Pressure Regulator (higher output)
[new] IE Short Shift Kit
[rebuilt] Alternator
[new] Battery
Really-nice Dashboard - no cracks.
Tan Vinyl upholstery (cloth back seat)
Electric windows and mirrors fully functional. Manual sliding sunroof (knob falls off sometimes - very typical)
Stereo (average) with factory speaker pods from "is" model.
*items listed as [new] were replaced since I've owned it
Notes:
The A/C does not blow cold, though the compressor runs and the fan works - I believe it needs either a charge and/or conversion.
One of the exhaust/muffler hangers needs to be repaired (I plan to take care of that).
The water temperature gauge works intermittently, and not often. I've replaced the sender, swapped a gauge, still cannot get it to work.
The odometer does not work (just last week I found the company who sells the gears, will share that info with you).
The car has a salvage title, which I suspect that may have something to do with the folks at Harout's having owned it. I took care of all the paperwork when I purchased it, the title is now clean and in my name. Registration renewal is due shortly.
I am asking for 3k OBO call or text me at 626-394-6792
