shit is fucked up. PO (BMWchubbs) PM to me:
I got rid of it for a reason. It was wrecked twice. The frame rails are not straight even though it is a clean title. This is evident when you look at the front wheels, the casters are way off etc. The driver rocker panel is dented way far in. The driver front strut tower welds are broke and the strut tower needs replaced. The passenger side does as well. The transmission is completely shot. It drives "Straight" but the frame is not straight. It has rust in a few places, would need an entire respray.
So he knew the car was thrashed and sold it to some dumb kid
who didn't get it checked out by a mechanic and
then traded him his e30 + cash.
FUCK THIS GUY!!!Comment

It's pretty obvious to anyone looking at the car that it needs serious body and metal work, it was on craigslist for years. You don't need a mechanic to point out what's wrong with it, unless you're a blind person... in which case, you have no business driving or even buying a car.shit is fucked up. The OP bought the car knowing exactly what was wrong with it and now is unjustly witholding payment that he still owes on it. I'd recommend nobody buy this car or parts from it until he pays up to the guy he bought it from...

thats all fine and good but when i was going to travel from SD to denver.
and had no prior knowledge of the car being on craigs for years i would have been fucked but only after i had driven 200+ miles to see the car in person. and then not have bought it.
thats why it is fucked up. just sayingComment
