OK, so I originally bought this as an extra car for my wife to have on hand, but she got tired of driving stick in traffic, so the poor thing is just getting driven a couple of times a week and deserves a better life for being such a clean and nice VW.

Couple of things, CEL came on initially because my wife topped the fuel off, so I simply had a friend reset it. AbouThe CEL recently came back on and very gracious guy from the forums here was over and checked the entire system on his laptop, 2 codes..
1. Evap (bad gas cap)
2. Thermostat

The car has never overheated, and I recently drvove it over 300 miles to the shore and back and she ran, and drove flawlessly. With these factors in mind I'm dropping the price to $6000. OBO because it's just taking up a parking space in my already cramped driveway.

BTW, I just put in new all weather rubber floormats ;) any interested parties are more than welcome to bring their laptops or code readers when the see the car. Thanks!
