Yes your car is one of the cleanest E30 around I have seen. To bad the E30 scene is more of the younger crowd that cannot appreciate the time,effort & cost of these cars. Believe me I'm helping Robert out at E30 Motor Werks in HB. I'm seeing all kinds of people trying to get Robert to do more. His prices are pretty fair & he is OCD like me on his work.

Lack of knowledge in the e30 scene is not the reason this car won't sell, it's more the fact that this car has been around the block a few times for $3-4k then someone does some maint. and paints it and it's $10k. No doubt it's a nice car, but I don't think the "e30 scene" will be fooled into paying such a premium for a somewhat stock car with unknown mileage and a nice paint job. It'll surely sell on ebay, I'd say thats your best bet

Like. How much approx to get a full coverage insurance on it, for one older driver with clean record?

Quite a bit more than a paint job... New upholstry, brakes, suspension parts, trim and things that people don't even think about doing. I looked for ages for an e30 that was clean and just gave up then I ended up with this one and decided to give it the complete once over. I have never seen another e30 that looks and drives like this. It's not your $995 paint job special or hack job anything. I have fixed all of the bs from the "been around the block" people that just didn't do things right. Thanks for your input though. :)

I have agreed value insurance on it and it costs me about $50 a month. That is with a multi car discount.

Notice I said it was a nice paint job, I saw the build thread and I will give you that. Just saying most of the maintenance stuff is things we have all done to our $5k e30's. Put it on ebay with some flattering pictures I bet you'll get close to what you want.

Dropped in a new K&N air filter this week. The detailer came out to finish up the car and it is ready to go under the cover. I am not sure that I want to put it on ebay yet. I prefer to do deals in person. Again to anyone who wants to come look at it just pm me and we will set something up.
