Problem is a car is in no way an investment and you should never expect to get back out of it what you have put in.

What are you looking for as far as the value of the e30 you are interested in trading for? Just because you have 16,000 into the car doesnt mean much except you over paid for many things. And im not thread crapping and I don't mean any disrespect.

What would you say the car is worth to you and what are you looking for in an fair trade e30?

I just read thru the list of things you bought again... why are jacks and stands, bav auto banner, welding and inspection on that list at all???

^ and inspection, registration, shipping cost, euro plate, stickers/decals, tire mounting?

all of these things are not necessity or were mandatory for you to drive the car. Not items which improved the car in any way. Just saying, when you list things that have been done to the car stick to parts and maintenance. Not state required fees, or un-necessary cosmetic. Just sayin
