Up for sale is a great example of an e39 M5. First off let me say that I love the car and will own another someday; however, I'm trying to get my finances in order to purchase my first home and I'd like to put as much money down as possible.
172,xxx meticulously maintained miles.
I'm the third owner of the car, and I have all records and receipts dating back to the 2nd owner's purchase of the car in August of 2004.
Jet Black exterior/ black interior with extended leather package
Major features/options include Navigation, PDC, M Audio, extended leather, cold weather package including heated front seats and fold down rear seats
Stock xenon headlights/led tails
Mostly stock: only mods are ZHP shift knob, 32% tint all around (legal), hardwired radar detector and a muffler delete (the best sounding exhaust available for these cars)
Recent maintenance includes a new flex disc, differential bushings, oil change and fuel pump within the past month. I've also replaced the windshield, thermostat, cooling system components and camshaft position sensors in the past 16 months.
Minor issues: oxidized paint on the top of the passenger side fender. If I were to keep the car I would probably respray the entire front end to fix 170k miles of rock chips for it to be perfect. The front bumper also has a crack in it from an overly tall cement parking block. I've included detailed pictures of both imperfections. Also the light bulb for the odometer is out, doesn't really bother me as I think it looks cleaner only having the gauges light up, and you can easily see the mileage if you turn on the obc lcd.
The car looks and runs great, I think the first person to drive it will have to take it home.
I'm asking $11,900 obo for the car. This is a ton of car for the price and I know the next owner will be extremely happy with it. Pictures speak louder than words so I took fair amount. If you want a detailed picture of something you don't see in the album let me know. I'll be adding interior pictures soon.
