    '92 laguna vert...trade for a 4 door...located in Bay Area

times are a changin, need the mor-door over the vert. 117k on the clock. auto w/synthetic trans fluid, new water pump, and timing belt. new cap, rotor, etc. new front tires. new top. Interior has cracks and wear.

would like a stock 4 door. preferable 88-92, 318 w/5speed. low mileage and a sunroof would be nice...must with the california smog'ed.

I had a car very similar to this. I just checked old pictures to see if the plates match, they don't. Mine had similar millage and was just as clean, I think I sold it for 4500, just to give you a reference. I think it should have sold for more but I did what I did.

Nice car...but really vague ad. You don't even specify what car it is...
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

My guess is its a 325i, as he stated he has recently changed the timing belt and the m20 is the only BMW engine that I know of that uses a timing belt (and not a timing chain). ;)

                  sorry for the poor ad...

the it is a 1992 325ic auto with a m20. as I have never had the numbers run, i can't say much about the specs, it cruises 80mph at 3,500 rpm. it has 117k on clock, I had all the major m20 service done when i acquired the car: timing belt, water pump, cap and rotor. I also had the transmission serviced and added full synthetic transmission fluid. had the rear diff fluid changed with synthetic fluid at that time.

the body is straight, but it appears that it had been tagged at some point as the fenders do not have the bmw tags on it. that paint is very good, with only a few minor knicks. the front trim strips on the bumper aren't perfect, and the left from turn signal is cracked.

                  dash is perfect.

I put a new top on it.

put 2 new front tires on.

The downers are; drivers front seat needs to be upholstered (crack on the bottom, the left side support is worn, and the right is sun cracked. there is a split in the seam in the center top of the rear seat. the top retraction switch is toast, but the motors are in good shape, and have a spare set.

the headlights are in good shape, the fog lights have the usual cracks.

I am open to anything in california, and am willing to drive for a swap. will get some better shots this weekend.
