Posting this car for a friend of mine who is definitely not a BMW "enthusiast" but asked me to help him get it in front of the right crowd. He has been DD'ng & maintaining this car for the past 5+ years. He bought the car from a family member who was religious with servicing the car and never spared a dime.
If I wasn't in the middle of a relocation & an E34 touring manual swap... I would be fixing or parting this car out for sure.
Car has a bad head gasket, diagnosed by the owner's mechanic. It does run & drive, but poorly.
He does not want to pay to fix the HG, however this car would make an excellent DD/beater for someone who's handy and wants to just replace the HG. Or if you have the time/space just part it out and make a killing on all the newer parts on the car.
Comes with a solid 1" thick folder of service receipts since DAY 1. It's been maintained very well and when I quickly scanned the most recent docs, they literally added up to $2-3k in the past year...
