PRICE DROP $3250 OBO ...
The time has come for me to part with my e30 iX. I'm in the process of moving to NC to take a position at the Duke Medical Center and will have less time for it and no where to park it :(, so I’d rather see it go to a good home. I'm in no hurry to sell, especially if I can't get what I want for it :), but with that, all reasonable offers will be considered.
I'm the 3rd owner. First owner had the car for a few years before selling it to his co-worker (2nd owner), whom it stayed with until I bought it in Novemeber 2008 (Massachusetts). I’m responsible for the last ~36,000 miles (mostly highway as I traveled to Ohio & South Dakota quite frequently). AWD drive works flawlessly even with the current tires. I live in Iowa and I never got stuck over the past 2+ years that I have owned it. Great Daily Driver, never had any issues on long trips and I wouldn’t hesitate to take it on one either.
Details:
1991 325 iX 4dr Red w/ Tan interior
150,700 miles
Thule Bike Rack (fairing & 2 fork mount bike rails – w/ 2 sets of keys)
Euro Bosch smiley's & Euro grills (original headlights & grills included)
6k HIDs blue ish (Low)
3k HIDs (Fog) - yellow ish
Pioneer CD player w/remote and front aux + USB (both work great with my ipods & iphone 4)
Oil & filter changed every 3000 miles with castrol GTX 5w-30.
Interior – 7.5/10 (the usual cracks on the left side of the driver seat and some stains).
Paint – 7.5/10 (the clear coat on the hood is gone + the usual amount of scratches expected in a 20+ year old car).
Recent Maintenance:
1. Brake Pads and Rotors (Front & Rear) (less than 8000 miles)
2. Timing Belt, water pump & accessory belts (less than 5000 miles).
3. Power steering pump and return lines replaced (used parts) (less than 1000 miles).
4. New spark plugs & Injector O-rings (less than 1000 miles).
The Bad:
1. Needs new Tires.
2. Cracked CV boot (parts included).
3. Could use new shocks.
4. The usual rust spots (rear passenger & sunroof).
5. Needs new tie rods.
6. Glove box is stuck in the locked position.
7. E-Brake is lose (forgot to tighten it after replacing the brakes)
The car is currently located in Iowa City, IA. PM me with details if you're interested in checking it out and we'll get something setup. Asking $3250 OBO and like I said, all reasonable offers will be considered.

Edit 1/18/2012: Rear Differential Fluid replaced ~20000 miles ago with Redline. I also have the Redline MTL fluid for the transmission, just never got around to replacing it again. Cheers ...
