A friend of mine is selling his car and I figured I'd post it to see if there was any interest.
"I'm selling my 1989 BMW 325i. It's a very clean manual transmission car with 152,xxx on it. The car is a blast to drive, the paint looks amazing, and the body is surprisingly solid (only two small areas in the rear with rust). The car is cirrusblau and has a blue cloth interior. The back seat and carpet are both mint, and there are no cracks in the dash. Also, the car has a 3.73 limited slip differential.
There are a few issues with the car though. The car has the steel front bumper but a plastic rear, so I'm assuming the bumper has been replaced at some point. Also, the driver's seat is pretty rough. The previous-previous owner sat down with a sawzall blade in his back pocket and tore the bottom of the seat. Since then, the base of the seat has worn itself into ruin. The stock radio does not work. Also, it is going to need tires. Lastly, there is a pretty severe exhaust leak somewhere. I know it is cracked right before the cat, so you're going to want to replace the pipe. Other than that, the car is in great shape. The front driver's side ball joint and tie rod are shot, but I'm getting them replaced Tuesday.
I hate to see the car go but I already have an M3 and getting a truck would make life a lot easier on me considering I'm getting sick of calling in favors every time I go to buy something. I'd like to get $2500 for the car, but I'm willing to negotiate. Likewise, I'll humor trade offers for trucks. Nothing newer please, I'm really looking for 78-79 Ford's and such."
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Onto the pictures: (the car was a little dirty)
