For trade is my 99.5 Jetta VR6, it is a 5 speed with roughly 150k miles (that number may go up slightly, it is currently my DD). Before I get to pics I'll quickly run down the good and bad aspects of the car, just for the sake of clarity.
Pros:
Brand new coil overs (Rokkor, they ride surprisingly well)
New oem clutch
New oem pressure plate
New timing chains and guides
Immaculate black leather interior
2 sets of wheels and tires 1 set are brand new snows
Non resonated 2.5 inch milltek exhaust
Recently buffed (solid 5-7 foot car)
EVERYTHING electrical works in the car, EVERYTHING.
Steel oil pan from a mkiii vr6 (won't crack like the aluminum ones on the mkiv)
New intake changover valve
Newer hella oem headlights
Sunroof drains recently cleaned
Cons:
CEL is on for a rear knock sensor (will replace before sale)
CEL is on for SAI pump, it was already deleted (resistor soldered in) all you need is software to erase the code
Few scratches and dings, nothing major
Shifter is a bit sloppy, but very usable
One steely is a bit rusty, but it holds air and tracks straight
On to the good stuff:
Price outright is 4000, due to the amount of work recently put into it. It really is a very solid running car that will keep going for a long time. I would reallllly rather trade straight across for an e30 in very similar condition. My only stipulation is that it not be automatic. Any color goes if it's in the right condition.
