FS in CA: '89 325i and s50 swap (partially complete) package

LOCAL ONLY PLEASE in SOCAL. WILL NOT PART OUT AT THIS TIME.

For now, gathering interest in selling my '89 325i and s50 swap that is partially complete. I do not have time nor the work space to complete the project, so hopefully someone out there is interested in doing so.

    1989 325i

    - Mileage is around 275k. Odometer stopped at 194k. Previous owner claimed 260k when I bought it.
    - Salvaged title. Previous owner had a minor accident right before I bought it in 7/2007. A pickup truck backed into the rear driver's side at 5mph. Body damage only, no frame damage.
    - Runs great, did not have any mechanical issues while owning the car.
    - Car has been through 9 AutoX days and 6 HPDE days, ran great, no issues.
    - BBS wheels
    - Eibach springs
    - Bilstein shocks
    - e30 M3 steering wheel
    - Leather seats
    - Paint is sun beaten
    - Two cracks in dashboard (see pictures)
    - Needs new tires. Spare tire is mounted on rear pass side because of recent flat tire. I have the 4th wheel
    - Small fuel leak at fuel tank inlet tube

The following maintenance has been performed on the car:
    - Replaced SI board batteries
    - Replaced motor mounts

    - Replaced driver's side CV boots
    - Replaced brake lines with stainles steel brake lines

I think you're about $1200-$1500 too expensive on your asking price given the condition of your vehicle and the amount of work that it will take to bring it back. This is assuming the paint is beat and it needs a lot of maintenance before the swap even happens. It was a pain trying to sell my salvage vert even though it was damn near perfect.

Regardless, I hope you just keep this car and build it up like originally intended. You will love it.

Yeah, the parts have been in storage for a while now, but taking them all out recently has brought some of the buzz back...

I'll keep your offer in mind, but I'd like to get a little more than that.
