To make a long story short I was rear ended yesterday in my car. My Insurance totaled the car. The car runs drives great and has no frame damage. The car is 1991 5spd 318i 4dr with about 210-215k on it. I just repainted the car in October using ppg base and clear coat. The car runs great handles excellent.
The issues are :
1. cracked dash
2. Crappy tires on bottlecaps
3. Instrument cluster works for fuel and temp only
4. No radio is installed
5. exhaust is half ass from cat back I had an ansa muffler for it but it was too big and I didn't wanna cut the rear valance to fit it. It just needs a new flange and bolts put on and it will be all good.
6. Salvage title because of recent accident they totaled the car I bought it back to save it. In Md you can tag historic without getting it inspected.
7. On the rear valance a 6 inch section needs to get cut out and rewelded but now whoever buys it will just replace with a new lower body panel anyway so not really an issue
8. 1 Rear wheel bearing needs replaced have all new parts from bmw.
The accident:
I will take current pics with the sealed beams and other parts being reverted back to stock.
I am NOT parting it out. I want to sell the complete car for 700 with stock suspension. Pm me if you are serious and can buy in the next week or two... I'll have current pics of it up tomorrow in the condition it will be sold. Here are a couple from before the accident.
