WTB Clean E30 near NYC

I'm interested in getting my first E30, and have yet to find the right one.

I want something that has been well taken care of with ZERO rust. Sedan or coupe, I don't really care. Not interested in convertibles though.

I'm well aware that a nice one isn't cheap, and am willing to pay a fair price for a nice one.

I'd prefer it to be somewhat local, but would travel a bit for the right deal.

Ideally somewhere in the middle. It doesn't need to be a flawless car, but it does need to be properly maintained with no mechanical problems. I can live with a few scratches here or there, but nothing too major.

I wouldn't mind one with a bit of suspension work, but I would be just as happy with a bone stock e30

I don't blame you! I could never own pristine car like that living in the city, I would probably end up sleeping in it just to make sure no one bumps it while parking at night!

I really just want rust-free, mechanically sound e30 that I can have some fun with. I could be wrong, but it seems like the problem free, albeit not perfect, e30s seem to be priced around $5-6k. I'm new to bimmers as this would be my first, but I'm doing my research and hope to learn as much as I can about them.

No way on the first one. If a seller can't make an effort to write properly, then I have a hard time trusting him to take care of a 20 year old car. That and the fact that he put chrome lowenhart knockoffs with low profile tires on the car makes me want to steer clear.

The second one is interesting, and I'm actually planning on checking it out in the near future.


I'm just a little more trustworthy of cars for sale on these forums because I like to think people on here are a little more educated about the cars they drive....I could be wrong though

I have a rust free Cali Car in NJ. She is not perfect but NO RUST very clean!
All the lights, and gauges work. No antenna but CD player works. AC and Heat Work. Power windows and locks work. The horn does NOT work.
