    Very nice.

Only thing I could offer for trade would be my 91' 318is slicktop with supercharged obd1 s52.. but that's not much of a baby hauler. (well, not if you're trying to avoid shaking baby syndrome.)

I am not looking for a baby hauler. Send me details please!

Edit: I'll entertain offers of all kinds. I prefer slick top e30's and swapped cars. I want something clean and rust free. I will however be looking for cash on top.

Folks, someone responded to my thread on another website and brought a few questions that others might also have. I've posted my reply here, if for some reason that's against forum rules, please let me know and I'll remove it!

My answers are in bold, if that wasn't obvious ;)

I have joined, specifically, for this thread. The car looks outstanding. I had a few questions:

        - When will you post current shots of the interior?
The weather here is currently lightly snowing. I plan on shooting some better photos (inside and out) when the weather clears. I hope to see some decent weather within a week. I can take some inside shots now but they're likely not going to be great quality in my tiny garage!

        - Can you see the crack in the HVAC panel in daylight?
Sure thing. I can attempt some inside shots today. It's barely noticeable, but you'll see it at night (as shown in the photos), due to the white light shining.

        - Is the dash cracked?
        Absolutely not.

        - Any lock issues?
I have had some random locking issues here and there like many E30's. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention as I failed to mention it. Currently all of the door locks work, but I have had the drivers side fail to lock at times, and then I use the trunk (which has never failed). I recently installed a inexpensive keyless entry (keyless only, unlock/lock) which has worked flawlessly since install.

        - Besides oil changes, can you list other maintenance to the S14 that you may remember? (and besides the plugs/wires/cap) How about a valve adjustment?
I have replaced all of the wear items on the brakes, Zimmerman drilled rotors, Hawk HP+ Pads, Goodridge stainless steel lines, brake fluid. Strut Tower Mounts we're replaced, OEM control arms, CAB's, Exhaust Hanger... I'm sure there are more things here and there that I can not remember. Overall, the car has given me no issues (besides those listed).

        - Do you still have that compressor? (sounds like you might)
I'm sure I do, including any other components that were removed, It's just a matter of finding which box they're stored in from the move overseas. If I sold the vehicle, I would be sure to include that, even if found after purchase.

        - Original clutch?
Yes, and it's not sloppy what so ever. The entire transmission/clutch feels very smooth. I have driven MANY E30's and this is by far the best feeling transmission and clutch I've driven. I realize that you'll have to drive it to know that as well, some things do not translate well over the internet or through words.

        - What would you consider your miles are - highway or in-town driving?
I think you have to remember where this car was for 90% of it's life, which was Germany! This car spent quite a bit of time on the Autobahn. I think the miles would realistically be split 50/50. I don't take cross country trips with the car, but when you drive on the autobahn, you rack up those miles.

-Were you nice to the car, didn't shut it off after only driving 3 miles in the cold?
I took the manuals suggestions on waiting for oil temperature to be warm before driving too hard. And no, this isn't the car I take to the grocery store. In fact, should I decide I want to do that, the trip becomes longer just because of that. I love the heck out of this car, and respect it far too much to treat it like that.

        - Where is the car currently located?
Kenosha, Wisconsin. We're approximately 45 minutes from Milwaukee or Chicago (for a total of 3 large airports). I am willing to meet you at an airport should you not be local.

        - Does the knock in the front occur when driving over bumps, or just sporadically?
The knock is over bumps, and is sporadic. Sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't. I stress that this car drives straight, and I didn't feel it was a huge issue because I had planned on doing coilovers this summer.

        - Any bushing work to the rear?
Not by me, but I believe the previous owner may have.

        - Are you interested in an e32? lol
        No.

        - Maybe I missed it - do you have the stock 15" wheels?
No I do not. I also currently do not have a spare tire, though I have a spare from a 5x120 BMW that I would include if anyone wanted it. I recently have been going through some wheel changes which leaves me spareless.

        - How are the THR CAB's holding up? Mine are rusting like crazy on my 88 325.
        Great, I really am impressed.

        - Will a compression test likely be done when the mechanic inspects it? (I'd recommend it!)
I'll be asking for one, yes. I'm looking to have someone take a look at it next week. I will report back.

        - How does the underbody look - no rust? (like, could I take off a fastener easily - except for the exhaust, that seems to always rust haha)
It's been a while since I've seen it on a lift, but it was pretty clean. I never had an issue, or anyone else for that matter, with removing fasteners, etc. And when I do was the car, I spray the underside as well. In fact, I have several times, had the vehicle brought to places that power wash the underside to keep it clean.

I considered PMing you, but figured these questions might be good for all to see.
I appreciate it, I'll add these questions to other places the car is listed. There are many things I forgot to describe! Feel free to contact me directly as well!

I've had a few Carfax requests. I purchased one today, which I will be more than willing to share with any potential buyers. It is, not surprisingly, completely clean.

                Good evening.

I've had quite a bit of requests for interior shots. As I've said before, the interior is in very very good shape. I am planning on ordering the screws for the knee bolster (area under the steering wheel). The purple cord you see under the steering wheel is a Monster cable that was installed by the previous owner for a CD changer which is mounted in the trunk. It's easily removable, I never did because it's covered by the bolster (when installed).

These were taken with my crappy point and shoot and inside of my tiny garage (don't mind my mess). These will have to do until my schedule and the weather let me get the car outside in the daylight!

These are in no particular order, as usual, if you have any questions please let me know!

I've had a lot of requests for photos out in the daylight. We've had some crappy weather here lately, today was the first day the roads were clear enough for me to take it out for some shots. I cant seem to find my DSLR so this is about the best they're getting. I'd encourage anyone interested to come see it (if feasible).

Just a note, the price is $19,000 OBO. I just don't want lowballers (which is 95% of what I've had so far). I also have mounted the knee bolster and added the pedal pads. I will be continuing to address the small list of "issues".

Beautiful car! Wish I were ready to pick one up. You should have no problem getting good money for it. It just takes time with these old M cars.

Thanks. I like the RK's too. It's the first time I've put a 16x8 wheel on the M3 and I'm pleased!
