Almost sold this in 2010 but backed out and wanted to keep it so I did. But now there's too many factors that need me to sell this. One, I'm into triathlons now and therefor I need to transport my bike frequently, and this isn't suitable for that. Also, I'm going to Mexico at the end of March with the girlfriend and I haven't saved any money so some pocket change would be nice for that.
I'll give you photos first, details after.

It got dark really quick so by the time I got to hardtop photos it was pretty dark. Can retake when it's not dark. I work till 5ish so it may have to wait until the weekend.
Details:
Car sits with 136,xxx kms (~84.5k mi). Imported it from Japan 5 years ago when it had 95k kms on it.
H&R Sport Springs
Bilstein Sport Shocks
CABS & shocks mounts also replaced
16" Borbet Type T wheels. Straight and true, a couple marks but nothing major.
Engine is a m20b20. All m20 bits from the 325i work on this car. I've never had an issue finding parts or parts being special order.
Was getting oil in the coolant (no coolant in the oil). So I replaced the head. At the same time replaced the air filter, timing belt, tensioner, distributor cap and rotor, new spark plugs and new wires. That was done about 300km ago and she runs beautifully.
Also got an ECU chip from the UK. Made by a reputable poster on e30zone named Speedtouch. He claims ~10bhp increase along with slight better mpg. It definitely feels a lot better on the low end with the chip installed. Haven't gone through a full tank of gas yet so I can't comment on the fuel efficiency.
New rotors were put on just under 2 years ago with brembo in the front and balo in the rear.
Pads are PBR Ultimate Ceramic.
ATF fluid was changed last month. Car runs on 10W40 Royal Purple Synthetic oil. New AC Delco battery too.
The transmission is electronic so it has a selectable driving mode from Sport, Economic, and Manual.
The car's colour is Briallantrot, interior is an original pattern which I don't believe was available in North America. M-tech II wheel from factory.
Euro goodies like working rear fog light and factory analog clock.
Paint job is great for 21 years old. I would give the softtop a 7-8/10. The plastic window was replaced when the car landed in Canada. There are a couple rips at the stitching/fulcrum points of the top. They've been sealed but they are still there.
However, who cares about the soft top when you have a hardtop right. I also have a nice hardtop with it. I give the hardtop a 9/10, there are some water stains on the glass. Haven't had the time to take em out yet but I googled it and doesn't sound hard. They're barely noticeable anyways. The rear defrost works great as well and makes winter driving much much easier and better.
Audio has been upgraded with an Alpine ipod/iphone control head unit. access your playlists and everything with control on the headunit.
Front speakers have been upgraded to Energy's. Great all around sound. I built a custom box for a 12" sub. Sounds very very good with the hard top on. Still good with the top down, but top up sounds the best (of course).
$8500 OBO
If anyone has any questions shoot me a PM or ask here. My girlfriend will be pissed if I'm broke for our trip and she has to be the suga momma.
