If you don't want to read any of the history, why I'm selling, detailed mumbo jumbo about the car, etc then skip down to the Good and Bad....
Why I'm selling:
I've been going back and forth on selling my e30 for the past couple months. I had it parked for about a year or two due to high insurance and after having my first kid.
This past fall I got it re-registered and back on the road and drive it to work at least once a week to break the monotony of driving my automatic Accord. I absolutely love driving it but think it might be time for a new toy (looking at getting an old CJ).
Cosmetic/Exterior:
The car is a little rough around the edges and I just don't have time to give it the attention is deserves. I pulled all the trim off over a year ago hoping to get the trim painted but never found the time. The paint has dulled over the years but with a days worth of buffing with an orbital you could definitely get the shine back. The paint is in no worse shape then when I bought the car and I'll show some pictures of how well she shined up after a good wax. The car has a few dings here and there but no major dents or scratches. The cow catcher valence show the most damage (see pics) but could probably be repaired. The tucked bumpers could use a repaint as well
Interior:
Interior could use a little loving as well. A few things that have been on my list are new driver door card, new driver seat (worn and torn), new dash (tach is broken), new door seals, new speakers/stereo.
The car is a great candidate to either be restored (would love to do euro bumpers) or turned into a track car. I've thought about going both ways multiple times.
Mechanical:
Mechanically the car is in great shape. The only two things that will need attention off the bat are the low pressure fuel pump (has started making a high pitched noise) and the front wheel bearings need to be replaced. Other than that the car drives great.
I drive it hard on a regular basis and never have any overheating issues unless I'm sitting in rush hour in the 100 degree summer at which point I might have to blast the heat for a few minutes to cool her back down. I've thought about installing an electronic fan but never bothered. The car does not leak and oil or coolant. I might have to add a little oil between oil changes from it burning a little oil, but never had issues with leaks.
Aftermarket mods are listed below in the "Good" list. I love the suspension setup (both cosmetic and performance) and the MarkD chip with 19lbs injectors added a nice boost in performance.
I went to a few autox with this car and had a blast. The only other mods I was going to do to the car were sway and strut bars and camber plates but I never got that far.
I think that is probably more than enough info on the car but if I forgot something I'll be sure to add it or feel free to message me with any questions.
Good:
Mechanically sound engine
No oil or coolant leaks
Bilstein Sport shocks on IE Stage 3 Race Springs
MarkD Chip
19lb injectors
New Injectors within the last year
Z4 short shifter (w/one piece lighted M3 shift knob/boot)
Free flow exhaust
New Battery in the fall
Tucked and painted diving boards
Bad:
Will need new tires very soon
Fuel pump has started making high pitched noise, will likely need to be replaced soon
Interior needs a bit of work (drivers seat is very worn/partially torn, cracked dash, and other small odds and ends)
Price:
$3700
I'll entertain reasonable offers but am in no hurry to sell. This is what it is worth to me and what I am willing to let it go for. If you don't think it is worth what I am asking that is fine, don't buy it, I'm sure there are plenty of other cheaper e30s out there in better or worse condition that will fit your price range.
Pictures
These are the most recent pictures of the car. My coworker took them with his iPhone and had some kind of filter set but is still a good representation of the car. I will try to snap some more pictures this weekend if anyone is interested

Somewhat recent (within the last year):

In her prime (worst decision I ever made was to sell the Alpina reps):

A few examples of how well the paint will shine up:
