    1991 318is Brilliant Rot

It has 102k genuine verifiable miles, no rust, one small accident to the driver rear quarter that was fairly minor (no major work needed) all panels original/ paint original and good. Originally owned in Iowa. I bought the car from the 2d owner in Wisconsin last November with records of in service back to 1992. My mechanic just did the profile gasket and front brakes rotors etc. $$ Grey Cloth interior - no rips, dash - no cracks. No cracks in windshield, no sunroof. Original stereo. Diff and trans fluid changed with redline. Sweet original basketweaves and snows with steelies available. $6,000.00 Pix available soon.

      all 318is were manual.

Put some pictures up if you're going to ask that kind of money.

Thanks for the advice. Pictures will be forthcoming - yes it's a 5 speed as they all are. This car with no rust, lowish verifiable miles, all original panel cars plus the recent profile gasket being done makes it a great e30. Sad to see it go.

Interested in a partial trade + cash on your end for an E30 M3?

I'm local and this is pretty much exactly what I want.

Do you need to sell it asap? My family and I might make a trip up there in a couple months.

Pm responded to / no - the car does not need to be sold ASAP - let me know what your thinking. I'm most likely selling this and my DD GS-R for a friend's Cooper-S. By the By - I just was part of aq transaction involving probably the best or at least top 5 e28 M5 in the country - 13,000 original miles - one owner - absolutely sick.

Pix now posted. Note that I just booked the driver's side rear quarter repair for late next week at an excellent local shop. Another update - A/C is in fine fettle and worked great during our global warming in Wisconsin this last week.

You mentioned its all original, however the rear quarter panel color and driver door colors dont match. Was that part resprayed?

From the way it was written, it doesnt explain much. Says "small accident, fairly minor, no major work needed" means something small, no paint. Plus you mentioned all panels original/paint original. Dont mean to shit on thread. Just trying to clarify because I am interested and in the market for a nice 318is. GLWS

It is original paint ie except for the obvious parking lot accident that has been disclosed and will cost less than a $1000. The confusion was my fault. In terms of "no major work" I guess that it's subjective. I apologize for that. I have a twenty year realationship with the body shop and Don will do a fabulous job. Need to add that antennae is currently inoperable but a plus is the sealed beams were replaced with plug in halogens.
