    1991 Alpine 318iS Turbo Project

    Much to my dismay, I've decided to put my M42 turbo project up for sale. I've owned the car since October 2010 and it has been off the road since August of last year in anticipation of having a sweet track car. Currently the car is sitting in a barn and is not exposed to the elements. Here's the craigslist ad, let me know if you have any questions. Car is located in Franklin, TN. Looking for $2500 cash, or trade for a plated Supermoto bike.

    First picture is from when the car was running. The car is now on the factory 14" BBS and I no longer have the XXRs.



    The hood is not latched in these pictures; it closes all the way.

              So am I...Basically all this thing needs is bearings/gaskets, management, and a clutch to be on the road having a blast!

                      Okay kids, I broke my leg via motorcycle accident yesterday. Consequently, free liberties such as walking and driving have been taken away from me--not to mention wrenching in the garage. Someone buy this thing so it doesn't have to keep sitting.

                          I love it. GLWS. If anyone you know would be willing to get it in running order, I'd be willing to take it. I don't have the skills/time to get it going again. Wish I did.

                              If you're serious, I am sure we could work something out. I understand that not many people want to delve into something like this--and I am now considering a stock build M42 just to get it running/driving again without the turbo setup. Of course, I am getting a plate and pins in my leg/ankle on Tuesday so this would be at least a month away. TTT!

                                  Might be picking up an M52tu this weekend. Someone pick this up before it has a third engine sitting in the garage :D

                                              If this doesn't sell as a package, I am going to put it back together when my leg has healed enough for me to be playing in the garage. I won't be able to do my internship this summer, so a whole lot of free time just opened up.
