    Details/Story:
I picked this car up in LA in December and intended to use it as my daily driver for the foreseeable future. I repaired and prepared the car as if it were going to by my DD - fixed all of the little things and brought it to its present condition. Recently I was accepted to a medical school in rural TN, and came to the realization that it may not be the best decision for me to be daily driving a car with no warranty when my income will limited (literally and figuratively) to student loans. If I weren't moving, I wouldn't be selling the car. I just won't have the funds or time should the car need to be repaired while I'm there. Judging by the present condition of the car, I don't foresee it needing anything major, but I just don't need the anxiety while in med school away from home. I'll be moving from this to a cheap, soulless, certified-used Corolla.

Over the past year, the car has had ~$5,500 in repairs performed, and has had (to the best of my knowledge) all of the M54 and E39 quirks addressed.

I have records for the following:

The car currently has 187,000mi, but from the photos you can see that it certainly doesn't look like it. With simple calculations, you would easily deduce that this car has done some significant commuting. The original owner purchased the car in San Diego and worked in Los Angeles. He used it it to commute every day to work, thus the high miles over the first years of its life.
A friend and I spent about five hours last night claying, polishing, and waxing the paint and it REALLY brought it back to life. Everything in the interior still works as well.
The car is turn-key ready to be your daily driver!

Gorgeous, with those meticulous maintenance records I wouldn't hesitate to buy this touring with those miles. Wrong coast, bump!

Yeah, I was surprised too. Looks just like dry-weave CF. It's pretty inexpensive too. Impossible to apply to anything remotely curved w/o a heat gun though; just in case anybody is looking to pick some up.

*I'll include another sizable sheet of the CF vinyl to the purchaser.

Yes. Very rare in the touring.

I was hesitant to get this one due to the auto (I've driven manual e30s for a decade). The 5-speed Steptronic is one of the better autos I've driven. It shifts faster than I can shift a manual.
