1988 BMW E30 s52 swaped, very clean, new paint

There is around 170k on the chassis, around 109k on the drivetrain. Yes this was Daniel Sloans car before. I'm selling the car because it does a lot of sitting. After I transferred to a UC I don't really have much use for it. I live right by my campus so I just take the bus. I'm planning on going to Europe for 2 months over summer so it will be doing more sitting and would rather have someone enjoying her.

The interior is black sport leather and in decent shape, although there is some wear on the driver door side bolster wear the foam is showing through a bit. Grey carpet, M3 mats, power sunroof, maplight rear-view mirror, 13 button OBC (MPG reads correctly even with swap due to correction module). The driver's side window motor works, but makes noise. The dash has one crack going right down the middle. It is perfect enough that it could probably just be fixed instead of needing to replace the whole thing. No cruise control, no a/c, The car has ellipsoids, euro grilles, and painted (red) tails.

The car is registered in Alaska, but has never been there. I have family there, it's way cheaper and didn't have to deal with it being bar'd. Took it to the state ref and he said he would pass me no problem, just need to change the cat and it would be good to go.

    On to the goodies:

The paint job is only about a year old, it's a Ferrari gunmetal color. The body is very straight with one little door ding in the drivers side front fender. Didn't chip the paint though. Rear emblem has been shaved. Also has brand new ppg windshield, no pits.

    OBD-I S52 with a TRM tune, ZF320 tranny, 3.25LSD.
JB racing lightweight flywheel with a stage 5 southbend clutch rated to 550hp. serious business. the previous owner was planning on a turbo...

    suspension:

    E36 M3 5-lug suspension/brakes in the front, 318ti suspension/brakes in the rear.
almost all the bushings (if not all) are polyurethane. about a year and a half ago I installed an H&R coilover kit ($1200). IE camber plates.

    setup: e36 m3/318ti
    tires: 225/40-16 Toyo T1R's
    suspension: Z3M Coupe H&R Coilovers

    the car weighs 2700ish pounds.

    aside from oil changes:
    injectors
    intake boot
    front wheel bearings
    rotors/pads
    custom exhaust - fits perfectly
    245/35-16 Toyo T1R tires about 50% left
    E38 750i Style 4 wheels
5-lug spare that fits in the spare tire well and is the same diameter as the other tires
    ejnight Race Skids skid-plate

The stereo is ok, the deck is pretty nice and it has an ipod hookup.

Please no trades, Price $11.5k Or best offer

    Also some interior pictures.
Has M3 black floor mats, just took them out so you can there are not holes in the carpet. http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...30%20interior/

random question but why was the C-pillar, trunk plate, and valence cut off masked off like that in the primer pic instead of painted all at once?

Because wherever you spray primer you need to sand. The tape on the C pillar was back taped. You really only need to primer large areas on a car if you did extensive sanding on rock chips or flaky paint. There was some original paint left on the c pillar so it was just wet sanded down and feathered into the primer. The whole car had sealer sprayed over it which goes over the primer. After is the base coat, then the clear. Hope that helps answers you question.

I see you like classic bikes. Trade an 85 rz350 with 17" wheels and lots of mods, and an rd400 race bike with 10,000$ worth of work toward your car?
