need an e30 to be a donor car but to also drive me around while Im on vacation in FL.

Nice dash/hvac is a requirement.
being able to drive 1k miles in a day is also a requirement.
little body damage and a clean title is a requirement.
clean windshield and operating wipers+spray is a plus
suspension upgrades are a plus.

I can't think of anything else.

Budgeting about 3k.
