I have for sale a '91 318i. 4 door sedan, 5 speed. The car is pretty straight and rust free. the paint is better than decent and quite shiny. all of the body panels are original and have matching vin numbers. there are several scratches here and there but the car looks nice and is very presentable. the driver's fender is missing a little paint on the lip. the passenger fender has a couple of minor dings as well. The interior is also really nice. there is one small rip in the rear seat bottom. otherwise, the seats are pretty much perfect. some of the fibers are starting to come loose in the carpet. The ODO shows 168,000 but of course it doesn't work. The engine runs fantasticly. the trans and clutch are also in great shape. the air conditioning doesn't work and it appears that the compressor is bad. i have a used but working m42 compressor that i will include with the sale. the car has bilstein struts. i assume they are hd's because the springs are stock. the car drives really well. the bottle caps are in really good shape. the tires are mismatched, but they are decent. it appears that this car was well taken care of for most of its life. it had been sitting for the last few years. there is an oil change sticker on the window from 2008. the inspection/registration appears to have been last done in '09. the exhaust is in great shape, all the lights/horn etc seem to work. i don't think it will have any problem passing a current inspection.
