live and learn, i sell all my cars at the bank now. Even if the buyer is paying cash. I want to know the bank will authenticate the cash.... again live and learn that sucks.

Yeah lesson learned. Some people just have no courtesy or morals anymore. Sucks

Hope the guy who did get it enjoys it!

Travish, I got your pm. Unfortunately I was not the one that bought it. I had tried to get in touch with him a while back, he initially replied and when I was ready to pull the trigger he stopped responding to my pm's and email's.

Good luck getting your $$ back, although it seems doubtful at this point...

Well I almost hate to admit to being the guy who bought the car but, I'm that guy! Needless to say, I had absolutely no idea that any of this was going on. The seller mentioned having a few offers but nothing about any deposits or anything. I feel terrible that someone got burned on this.

travish325, I'll PM you my email so we can compare notes. I don't want to drag anyone through the dirt on the forum without knowing the full story.

Lucky guy jx. I really wanted to pick this up. If you ever decide to sell it make sure you shoot me a pm.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to hang onto this one for quite a long time. This is exactly what I've always wanted in an E30 and at a fraction of what it would have cost me to build it from stock.

I'll be posting some more pics and details on the following thread:

The kid that purchased 'my' car sold it already??! I had a feeling he was interested in flipping it. As stated earlier it is definitely an $8500 car - hopefully the new owner understands what he now has and will give it the care and attention it deserves....oh and will kick the ass of a Mustang or two. ;)
