Hey all, I've decided to go ahead and list my 1999 540i six speed sport package. I bought this car back in February to serve as the new DD, but have since decided that I want a shop. Therefore, the toys are going and the money will go directly towards space and and a nice mill and lathe. Heres a quick run down of what you're looking at:

Titanium Silver

17x8/17x9 Style 32s

I bought the car with some flaws and have been slowly sorting through them, but she isn't perfect, yet (the price with reflect this.) I am going for full disclosure here, so bear with me:
Clear coat is peeling on front bumper cover
rear bumper cover has a pretty substantial scratch in it (planned on swapping M bumpers onto car so I haven't fixed these)
clear coat on top of mirrors is gone
Paint has some chips here and there, but shes a beaut from 10 feet
Passenger side front fender has a very slight, almost invisible, dent in it
Heater control valve has been bypassed but is included
Drivers seat appears to have a short in it, all the motors work, but when you sit in the seat it blows the fuse--something is making contact when weight is in the seat
A and C pillar head liner is sagging (all are currently removed and being fixed)
Muffler has been cut off, sounds good, but piping isn't ran to the back yet
Some dead pixels on OBC
Wheels need to be refinished, they're atrocious
A/C compressor rattles, but works
ABS light is on, might need pads, I need to look into it
VCGs are leaking
Key fob doesn't work, it was washed...duh'o
I am currently knocking out ALL of these issues one by one, and the price will continue to go up as they're resolved. Now, lets end on a positive note:
Everything works: lights, switches, DCS, ect
The M62tu runs and pulls like a dream
The clutch is good and the CDV has been removed
Radiator is two years old
Interior is clean with no rips/tears
Car tracks straight and true
All windows and the sunroof work flawlessly
Sport package with M wheel/shifter
Car passed marta last week with flying colors
Bottom line is this: With new bumper covers and (refinished) wheels this car would look fantastic, and with a couple of weekends in the garage everything else would be taken care of. I broke my leg over two months ago and it has been a huge chore trying to work on anything lately--hence why I am listing this now rather than later. Looking for $5200 as the car sits now, this is subject to change as I put money into the car and fix issues. Car is located in Franklin, TN. PM me with any questions!
